Two policemen attacked with bombs

Two policemen were injured, when they were attacked with bombs during a raid to arrest a suspected criminal in Kokhraj area, official sources said on Thursday.

Two policemen were injured, when they were attacked with bombs during a raid to arrest a suspected criminal in Kokhraj area, official sources said on Thursday.

Incharge of Kokhraj police outpost Shivmurat Yadav and personnel Mahendra Singh were injured, when they were attacked by a criminal in Bidanpur village during a raid conducted last night, they said.

"Based on the tip-off, a police team raided a house.

The criminal, who was hiding in the house, hurled bombs injuring two policemen," Superintendent of Police Kripashanker Singh said.

He said that kin of the accused were being quizzed and teams were constituted to raid possible hideouts of the criminal.
