A 27-year-old man was allegedly shot at by his girlfriend's brother in Shakarpur in East Delhi on Monday. Police said Ram Khilawan, a resident of School Block, was shot in the arm following an argument with his girlfriend's brother.

Her father and brother had called Khilawan to meet them around 6 am.

“The girl’s father got to know about their relationship and took her back to their hometown in UP. Khilawan was reportedly in touch with her after that as well,” a police officer said. A bystander called the PCR and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital. A case has been registered.

In a similar case, a 20-year-old allegedly shot a 15-year-old boy after the two had an argument over a girl they both liked. Police said the incident was reported in Seelampur in Northeast Delhi on Sunday night. Abid, the victim, and accused Nadeem got into an argument.
