Security forces kill two terrorists in a Srinagar clash that claims seven cops.
Two terrorists holed up in a city hotel were on Thursday shot dead by security forces after nearly a 20-hour gunbattle during which eight other persons, including seven security personnel, also lost their lives.
Five policemen, including an Assistant-Sub Inspector, two CRPF personnel and a civilian were among the dead. Fifteen others, mostly securitymen, were injured in the gunbattle, Kashmir Inspector General of Police SM Sahai said.

Sahai said the operation had been called off after a search in the area for any remaining ultra was completed.
