With the state CID probing the Professor HS Sabharwal murder case identifying four more accused, police have launched a hunt to arrest them as early as possible, official sources said on Saturday.
Though CID has not revealed their names officially, police in Ujjain have been asked to keep a watch on them and arrest them as early as possible, the sources said.
"However, soon after the CID identified them, they are not being sighted in Ujjain," they said.
In another development, the court has extended the judicial remand of state ABVP President Shashiranjan Singh Akela and secretary Vimal Tomar till September 29, in the Sabharwal murder case.
Meanwhile, Sudhir Yadav and Hemant Dube, who were arrested and released on bail in the August 26 Madhav College violence case, did not appear in the court on Friday, for the hearing.
The CID investigation officer requested the court to cancel their bail. However, the judge turned down the CID plea, the sources said.
