Bharatiya Janashakti founder Uma Bharti on Wednesday refused to comment on speculation that she might return to the BJP and said that she had come to Hoshangabad on a religious trip and not for any political purpose.
"I have come here for religious reasons which have got nothing to do with politics," she told reporters at Bandrabhan about 22 km from Hoshangabad.
She was asked to comment on what the real situation was regarding her possible return to her parent party - BJP after she left the presidentship of the Bharatiya Janshakti, which she founded in 2005.
The 51-year-old Sadhvi came here this afternoon along with her family members including nephews, their wives and her sister-in-law and all of them had a dip in the Narmada river at Bandrabhan.
