Unclaimed transistor radio triggers panic in Delhi

Police said they received a phone call from panicky commuters at the Anand Vihar Bus Station.

An unclaimed transistor radio at a busy inter-state bus terminal in east Delhi triggered a bomb scare on Friday noon.

Police said they received a phone call from panicky commuters at the Anand Vihar Bus Station about an unclaimed radio lying in the premises.

A police team, that rushed to the bus station, found a small FM Receiver Radio which they declared was harmless.
