"There is a wide range of bar accessories available such as: wine and whisky glasses, champagne flutes, fun shot glasses, trays, coasters, products like the bar butler to dispense the right amount of liquor, wine coolers, ice buckets, ashtrays etc," says Vandana Khosla, Director, ELVY.

People no more limit their choice to just being simple, but like to experiment with new designs and styles. "Having a bar at home is not a new thing, but people looking for bar and accessories with unique and innovative styles can be seen as a pleasant change," says, Bobby Aggarwal, Furniture Maker.



Price tag

The exclusive designs do come for a hefty price tag. "The prices vary a lot as there is enough variety and quality of bars and accessories available. Bar accessories may start from Rs 400 and go upto Rs 5000, or more," says interior designer Mukul Goyal. The price may vary depending on the material accessory is made of. A bar’s price may start from Rs 80000 and go upto Rs 2 lakh, depending upon its design. Accessories’ price may vary as they also come in different material such as; metallic, leather, glass, wood etc." says, Aggarwal.



How about a gift

"There’s a huge demand of bar accessories during festival time. People buy them for their personal use as well as for gifting options," says Khosla. Rahul Bhagat, a business analyst, who keeps making additions to his bar, says, "Having a good bar and accessories give a nice feeling to the whole drinking session and provides a place to display our prized possessions of wines and scotch."
