The makers of the popular fitness game, Zombies, Run!, are reportedly releasing a new walking game. Tentatively titled The Walk, the spy thriller that’s being developed by London’s Six to Start, will ensure that players walk their way to fitness. The basic objective focuses on getting people to move more and be active.
“You are going to walk more with this app and it’s going to be fun,” said co-founder and chief creative officer Adrian Hon of Six to Start at the Games For Health conference in Boston, USA.
As part of Zombies, Run’s storyline for the iPhone and Android, the player joins 4,50,000+ runners on an adventure that motivates you to run faster even as you rebuild civilisation by collecting critical supplies and avoiding roving zombie hordes. The game, which has seen over half a million downloads, comes with 60+ missions. It can be played while you jog in a park, run along a trail, walk to work, or even run on a treadmill.
And it isn’t the only one. If you are looking to get fit in a fun way, here are some games you must download.
