Dream big and do not let failures deter you from marching forward till you achieve success, said Dr Shah Faisal, the UPSC topper this year, after a felicitation in Pune.

The 26-year-old Faisal, who hails from Jammu and Kashmir was felicitated in Pune on Sunday night by a city-based social organisation, Sarhad, for his success in the Union Public Service Commission exam.

In an interactive session with youths including Kashmiri students, Faisal said, "Indian youth should not be afraid of dreaming big. Failures happen but learn to overcome them. In my case, they ignite me to go forward".

Sanjay Nahar, president of Sarhad said the organisation had been working in the strife-torn state of Jammu and Kashmir to build cultural bridges between the valley and rest of the country.
