The US will pursue investigations of the Mumbai terror strikes to its logical conclusion, David C. Mulford, the US ambassador to India said here on Monday.

Asked for his reaction to reports that Jamaat-ud-Dawa — a front for the Lashkar-e-Tayyeba, which India holds responsible for 26/11 — was operating under a new name, he said, “You don’t change spots on the leopard.”

However, Mulford, who was in the Capital, refused to comment when asked about reports that Pakistan has rejected evidence given by the FBI.
