Uttar Pradesh take on Baroda in their Super League Group ‘B’ Ranji Trophy encounter at the Mohan Meakins Ground in Ghaziabad from Monday.
And they will be hoping to get a win under their belt considering their key players who were out for national duty are back in the squad. They will welcome the services of Suresh Raina, Sudeep Tyagi and Praveen Kumar.
Incidentally, UP already have a loss against their name, while Baroda are still looking for an outright win.
“The playing XI will be decided tomorrow morning,” said Gyanendra Pandey, UP’s coach. “Still, we are glad that we will play to our full strength. It’s a slow track, so it will assist the bats.”
Baroda will be looking for big names especially the Pathan brothers — Yusuf and Irfan — to fire.
Both teams arrived on Saturday and have been practicing since then.
