THE BIRTH anniversary of Swami Vivekanand on January 12 will be observed as Career Awareness Day in the entire Madhya Pradesh under the Vivekanand Career Guidance Scheme. On this occasion youths will be informed about various career-building opportunities.
Functions for this will be organised in all higher secondary schools, polytechnic colleges, ITIs and Government colleges. The main function will be organised at Government Sarojini Naidu Girls’ Postgraduate College at 12.30 pm. Higher Education Principal Secretary Dr Bhagirath Prasad and Higher Education Commissioner SN Mishra will also be present on the occasion.
Swami Vivekanand Career Guidance Scheme director Dr Jayantilal Bhandari will be the main speaker on the occasion.
Ashok Vajpayee from Indore will also participate. A folder focusing on the scheme will also be released. A function will be organised at Subhash School for Excellence on the occasion.
Students in all educational institutions will be acquainted with the ideology and thinking of Swami Vivekanand with regard to the youth. Principals of all Government colleges have been directed to organise suitable functions to mark the occasion.
Students and teachers associated with this scheme will be awarded for their excellent work. Students will be provided guidance for career building in the age of globalisation and they will also be apprised of career opportunities and components of personality building.
