VHP chief holds Kitchloo responsible, demands his removal

Condemning the sectarian violence in Kishtwar on Friday, Ramakant Dubey, state president of the Vishav Hindu Parishad (VHP) Holding minister of state for home Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo responsible for the polarisation among the communities, which had triggered the incident.

Accusing the minister of playing an active role in the episode, Dubey alleged, "Kitchloo and his son have been targetting Hindus on one pretext or the other ever since he took oath as the minister of state. He planned this attack on the Hindus."

He condemned the state police and administration for failing to protect the victims, adding, "The attackers must be arrested immediately and the Army should be brought in to ensure safety of the people."

Demandingt removal of Kitchloo from his post, Dubey said, "Chief minister Omar Abdullah should immediately remove Kitchloo from his cabinet and an FIR should be registered against the minister and others involved in the attack."
