A vigilante group calling itself Bank Bosses attacked and vandalised former Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) chief Fred Goodwin’s home in Scotland and immediately after emailed newspapers warning that other rich bankers, responsible for the collapse of the banks they headed, would be the next targets.
Goodwin, a motorsport fan, also has a fleet of vehicles thought to include two Ferraris, a Range Rover and a Triumph Stag. The email said, "Fred Goodwin's house in Edinburgh was attacked this morning. Bank bosses should be jailed. This is just the beginning." The message was sent using the name Moira McLeod. Police are treating the message seriously and have launched investigations.
