Sophie Choudhary, who is all set to sizzle in the upcoming flick, Aa Dekhen Zara alongside Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bipasha Basu, had a close call with tragedy last month narrowly escaping an LTTE strike in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Recounting the horror, she says, “My flight took off just a couple of hours before it happened. My entire dance troupe was stuck at the airport and was made to hide in the basement.”

This is not the first time that she has had a close encounter. “Even on 26/11, my friends wanted to have dinner at Wasabi and then go to Dragonfly but I got delayed shooting and was so tired that I decided to eat at home,” she says.

The actor says that such incidents don’t deter her: “I won’t allow someone to instill so much fear in me that I stop living my life. That would mean that they have won… and I can’t allow that.”
