Vodafone, a leading telecom service provider, on Sunday launched the one paise per second call scheme for both local and STD calls in Bihar and Jharkhand.

Vodafone's one paise per second call rate facility would be available for both new and existing customers, a company release said in Patna.

The new customers would have to recharge with Rs 14 to get the per second call facility while all the existing subscribers can avail this facility with a one-time recharge of Rs 15 which would also enable them (customers) a full talk time of the same amount (Rs 15).

The one paise per second rate would be available for one year and would also be valid for calls made to any operator across the country, the release said.
