Aussie speedster has learnt a new phrase – "Main tumhara hun… tumhara hi rahunga…"

He also has a special Namaste and Sat Sri akal for his friends from north India.

Brett Lee was in Delhi recently to launch Timex's new Conversation Starter series.

"It's always great to come back to India. It's like my second home," says Lee, who has probably had the India stamp on his passport more than for any country - thanks to some non-stop cricket, including the IPL, and assignments ranging from endorsements to shooting for a Hindi film.

And the way he pulled off a perfect act - a guitar strumming Lee hits the right note with a beautiful young woman - acting seems a good option.

Although his first Hindi film, Victory, which features Harman Baweja along with several Indian and Australian cricketers, is due for an October release, Lee says that offers had started flowing in much earlier.

"But three to four years ago, I wasn't ready to give my attention to anything but cricket. Now I definitely want to be associated with more Bollywood movies."

What kind of a role is he looking for… how about dancing around trees?

"Well, with koala bears up there, dancing around trees won't be possible in Australia," the paceman retorts. Big B rocks "I'd like to do some action roles."

Any lessons from Preity Zinta? "She's a wonderful actress. I have been picking up a lot," says Lee, whose favourite actor is Amitabh Bachchan. "Big B is the best," he says with enthusiasm.

Lee, who was first seen matching notes with the legendary Asha Bhosle, is keenly awaiting the release of his album. On a roll He is "ready with six to eight songs" and says it will release by the year-end..

The lyrics or music don't have an Indian influence, though. "It's set in my background and reflects what I have done," says Lee.
