The water supply to the town was restored on Sunday after three days.
A spokesperson for the department of irrigation and public health said though supply had been restored, the water supply scheme was still not operational fully. Workers were repairing the damage caused due to landslide at the site of the scheme and it was would be operational fully by Monday.
Local residents have asked the Himachal Pradesh government to ensure that there was no water crisis in future and efforts should be made to remove hurdles while operating the water supply scheme.
