Highlight Story

Actress Kirsten Dunst revealed that she and former beau Jake Gyllenhaal tried everything to save their crumbling relationship, even going as far as to spice up their sex lives in a last ditch attempt.

The Spiderman star revealed that the couple were so determined to spice up things in their personal lives that they even went to the extent of making out in cars, bathroom and the sea-shore.

The only place where they refrained from having sex, Dunst revealed, was in a walkway in a hotel, for they were too scared that they would be caught and thrown out.

"We tried to spice things up - we had sex in cars, in the bathroom and even by the sea. The only place we didn't have the guts to try was in a walkway in a hotel because we thought we might get kicked out if we were caught," the News of the World paper quoted her, as saying.

All their efforts came to naught however, for both realised that they were just too different.

"Jake and I couldn't last. He's a stay-at-home boy and I'm an out-on-the-town girl. I'm so young, he's so young and I just keep thinking now I need to be on my own," she added.

And though they may have parted ways, Dunst insists that the “dorky” ‘Brokeback Mountain' star will remain the love of her life.

"Jake was the love of my life. He was, is and always will be....In Jake I believe I found that. He's a dork. That's what I love about him," she said.
