Call it an ultimate credit crunch dress or an innovation in fashion design, but button dress is your answer to fuss-free fashion. Fashion designer Anuj Sharma, who showcased a line called Button Masala on the second day of Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai, says that the outfit could be worn in "30 million ways."
Explaining the creative garment, Anuj says, "It is a simple cloth with no stitch, no seams to join the cloth but hundreds of buttons to turn the garment into a different outfit each time." The button dress can be worn as a shirt, a trouser, a skirt or a dress and even a bag in just five to ten minutes with putting buttons in different holes.
Anuj took a year's break to conceptualise this novel creation. The designer himself wore the garment as pants while taking a bow on the ramp. Talk about creative genius!
