Jennifer Lopez’s night in jail will soon be laid out in black and white when a new book, penned by one of the cops on duty the night the singer and then fiancé Sean Combs were arrested, hits stands soon.
In the book titled Notorious C.O.P: The Inside Story Of The Tupac, Biggie And Jam Master Jay Investigations From The Hip-Hop Cop, cop on duty Derrick Parker reveals that Jennifer Lopez not only sobbed while she was handcuffed to her cell door, but that she was also “traumatised” by her first night in jail.
"The cops had her handcuffed roughly to the top of the cell cage. (She was) still in her little club outfit, a long pink coat with fur on the collar. Jennifer Lopez was crying and upset - her agitation exacerbated by the fact that her arms had been locked upright in an uncomfortable position for at least an hour. (She was) breaking down," Contactmusic quoted him, as telling the National Enquirer.
The couple were arrested as they attempted to flee from a New York nightclub after a shooting incident in 1999.
