WHY IS PWD Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya getting panicky over the Governor’s letter to the State Government on Indore pension scam? Your news item in the December 13 issue provokes me to ask some innocent questions. I think I know a bit of the possible answers.
Hence this letter. I was present in the ‘Samarthan’ seminar. The Governor threatened nobody with any kind of ‘shooting’, as sensationalised by a local newspaper. I was also present at the Law Institute Conference when the Governor spoke of the Indore pension scam. He mentioned no names.
He only said that the poor pensioners should have got their money. A lot has appeared in print and also TV channels about this scam. Why is it that the PWD Minister of Government of Madhya Pradesh imagining that the Governor is attacking him for reasons political? If the PWD Minister thinks he is an honest man, he should support anybody who is calling for a fair deal for the poor of Indore.
Any honest man would know the right answer. That’s it. Ram Naresh Goel, E-7, Arera Colony, Bhopal
