Sanjna Bhatia, wife of deceased pilot S K Bhatia, killed in the helicopter crash along with Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, on Monday appealed to the government to provide her family with an accommodation.

She made this plea when the Cantonment MLA Shankar Rao and other Congress leaders visited her to console the Bhatia family. Bhatia was the chief minister's helicopter group Ccaptain.

Bhatia, along with the co-pilot M S Reddy, was flying the chopper which crashed in Nallamala forest killing all the five occupants in it-Reddy, the two pilots, one security officer and a state government officer.

Sanjna said that for her and her two children the immediate concern is for a house. She requested the MLA and other Congress leaders to take up the matter with the government.

Shankar Rao assured her to do the needful and provide her the necessary help from the State Government. He said that he would be meeting the Chief Minister K Rosaiah on Monday and seek help to ensure that a suitable accommodation is provided to the Bhatia's family.
