Wondering what to gift your ‘not-so-loved-one’, while everyone around you plans a V-Day surprise? A Dhokha card may be what you’re looking for. “It is a promotional strategy for our new film, Love Sex Aur Dhokha, which deals with betrayal in love. We decided to take the un-Valentine route with these cards,” said director Dibakar Bannerjee.
LSD producer Ekta Kapoor said, “There are as many people who are in love, as those who abuse love. Dibakar thought it was time for people betrayed in love to express themselves.”
The cards are available at select coffee shops, cinema halls, restaurants, salons, spas and tattoo parlours in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chandigarh.
The production house is planning a radio contest where people can send un-Valentine’s Day gift hampers, comprising of a dhokha card and a cactus plant!
A special dhokha card application has been developed for Facebook too, where you can send a virtual black rose.
