On October 15, the Indo-French Centre for the Promotion of Advanced Research (IFCPAR) is returning with its online quiz that offers a lucky few a weeklong visit to France.
Hitherto confined to school children in Classes 8 and 9, a new category for undergraduate students has been added this year, said the organisers in a press release.
"This particular category has been included as the Trade Commission of the French embassy in India would like to build brand ambassadors among this age group of students," the release said.
The top few participants in the online quiz would be selected for the final round to be held here later this year.
"Outstanding among these would be taken on (an all-expenses paid) weeklong orientation tour of France to expose them to the French culture and civilization," the release said.
A bank of 450 sample questions has been already posted on the website www.indiafrancequiz.com. The final 100 questions for the quiz would be selected from these. The 100 questions would have to be answered within 60 minutes on the day the quiz opens.
IFCPAR is organising the quiz to commemorate the 20 years of bilateral cooperation between France and India in science and technology. The two governments are supporting the event.
