WINDSHIELDS of about 25 vehicles were broken by unidentified person (s) in Raj Mohalla area on Thursday night. Raj Mohalla area residents woke up to a rude shock on Friday when they found glasses of their vehicles broken by unidentified person(s) at night.

About 25 cars parked in the street in Ramchandra Nagar, Vindhyachal Nagar and North and South Raj Mohalla had their windshields broken. The damaged vehicles are of different models including Maruti, vans, Zen, Santro, Gypsy and others.

No one has so far come forward with an explanation for the reason behind such an unprovoked act. However, it is being said that some persons, who were possibly drunk, on three motorcycles zoomed on the roads late into the night and smashed the window panes and windshields of vehicles parked on roads they passed through.
