A woman employee of a medical firm has lodged an FIR against her boss, accusing him of sexual exploitation. She alleged that when she went to register the FIR with the Vibhuti Khand police station a few days ago, her complaint was not entertained. It was however registered with the Mahila Thana on Friday night (under sections 354 and 506 of the IPC) after the intervention of SSP RK Chaturvedi.

The woman said the firm’s director Ashok Arora sexually exploited her by initially giving job favours. She said he later threatened her of dire consequences and sacked her when she opposed his ‘indecent behaviour’. However, the accused told cops that the woman was trying to frame him.

The accused said he allowed the woman to stay in his flat, as she did not have a proper place to stay when she joined the firm four years ago. The woman allegedly refused to vacate the flat in September last year and lodged an FIR against him in Vibhuti Khand four months ago. She lodged the second FIR with the Mahila Thana when he came out clean in the previous probe. Mahila Thana in-charge Shiva Shukla said, “It is true that the woman was putting up in the flat and she had even lodged FIR against the firm director. But this does not prove that the woman’s allegations are false.”
