A woman was booked for misbehaving with a security staff at the Huda City Centre Metro station, police said on Thursday.

The passenger misbehaved with a woman inspector of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) after she asked her to pass her bag through the x-ray screening machine before entering the Metro station. The accused refused to follow the instruction and started arguing with the officer, the police said.

“She was arrested by the officers of the Gurgaon police station housed in the metro station premises. The accused was produced before a city court that granted her bail,” said a senior police official.

Ahead of the Independence Day celebrations, security agencies are at high alert. “Security has been beefed up at all metro stations in the capital and NCR. All passengers must have to go through the security process,” said CISF’s spokesperson Rohit Katiyar.
