IN ‘SHRAMIKO se miliye’ (meet the workers) programme held today at BHEL, Executive Director R K Singh was given a warm welcome by the representative union INTUC and other trade unions. MP (INTUC) president R D Tripathi, general managers of various departments, senior executives at workers in a large number were present in the program.
Tripathi welcomed Singh after taking over as Executive Director BHEL, Bhopal, and said that the unions would extend all cooperation in achieving the annual business target of the plant. Applauding the achievements of BHEL, Bhopal, during the last five successful decades, he said that the work culture here is unique in the sense that management and unions take all important decisions on a common platform.
Tripathi said that the employees in Bhopal have great expectations from the dynamic leadership of Singh and he is sure that the new Executive Director would add new dimensions to this company.
Singh thanked the employees and trade union representatives for the love bestowed upon him and appreciated the maturity and constructive role of the unions in taking BHEL to greater heights. He said that commitment can yield any results and asked the employees to work with team spirit to achieve the target. Emphasising on the need to implement Daily Works Management, he said that 7500 committed employees of BHEL could perform like 75,000 people.
