HOLDING EDUCATIONAL workshops aimed at improving High School results on a divisional level has emerged as the gist of a two-day State level workshop in Bhopal that concluded on Thursday.
Joint Director (Education) Indore division SB Singh speaking to Hindustan Times said that the workshop was conducted with the aim of bringing about a positive improvement in High School results. The State government has made it clear in unequivocal terms that education is on the list of subject’s dear to the Chief Minister and the government is committed towards bring about an improvement in the field.
Only three-months are left for the High School final exams and preparation is underway well in time to bring about this qualitative improvement.
Day wise schedule has been fixed for all the Joint Directors who have been asked to submit a monthly report. Inspection of schools, monitoring of teaching and taking action against errant teachers lagging behind in the above stated objectives, has been given as the target duties for all Joint Directors.
Subject experts who have been developed as master trainers will impart their knowledge on teaching difficult topics with ease to teachers. It has been directed that divisional level workshops be held for teachers to receive this training.
Joint Directors of all seven divisions, education coordinators from every district and divisional education coordinators attended the two-day workshop. Apart from the above said officials subject experts on all six High School subjects attended from each division.
Showing the kind of commitment expected by the government towards this goal high officials including Commissioner Public Inspection LS Baghel chaired the first day of the workshop and Director Public Inspection A Bhatt chaired the second day of the workshop.
