Unemployment, lack of success as a disc jockey and heartbreak are suspected to be the reasons for a 26-year-old committing suicide at his residence in a north west suburb, police said on Sunday.
Allan Panchal, was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his residence in suburban Andheri by a neighbour last night, they said.
Panchal, who was earlier living with his mother and brother was staying on rent at the apartment in Andheri and had lost his job at a BPO.
"He tried his hand at being a disc jockey but that too did not work out because of which he could have been depressed," officials said.
A personal relationship between Panchal and a girl had also soured due to his unemployment which had upset him, they said.
Despite no suicide note found at the spot, police officials said the Panchal's family said they did not suspect any foul play.
