THE LAWNS of Amer Greens came alive with the Christmas spirit of the season, unveiling the Mega Christmas Party — HT-PACE Razzmatazz on Sunday afternoon. The weather on this wintry morning provided a perfect backdrop to the Christmas Eve celebration. Fun and frenzy were the buzzwords at the mega event organised in association with Amer Greens and Radharaman Group of Educational Institutes.

This event provided a glittering array of activities aimed at a memorable X-mas eve for the kids and their parents. Highlights of the event were the most happening music for the kids who loved to dance, games for the parents, delicacies on discounted rates and gaming zone for the little ones.

Rocking numbers by DJ Rohit kept the kids grooving on the dance floor. Pulsating music numbers like Golmaal, Where’s the party tonight and Let the party rock were thoroughly enjoyed by the participants. Rohit, who has been into music field for almost six years and has five cassettes Remix Insomnia Vol 1-5, knew the pulse of kids and had songs to keep each one on the floor.

Vishal Tiwari of Red Rose School Lambakheda said, “I have attended several Christmas parties but I never enjoyed as much as I did today. It was wonderful. Rinki Agrawal of Sri Satya Sai College Bhopal who came with her brother Jayesh Agrawal of Carmel Convent S S School, Ratanpur, first time in the PACE Christmas celebration said, “The party epitomised fun-filled activities for the PACE member students carried out over a period of four hours, keeping up with the festive and holiday season of Christmas and New Year.”

Dean Administrative, Radhraman Group of Institutes Colonel R K Singh and PRO Radharaman Group of Institutes appreciated the event and said that it was a gift to the children of Bhopal on the eve of Christmas. Santa’s arrival on the popular tune of ‘Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells’ amid a pack of dancing kids enlivened the atmosphere at the party. He posed for pictures with children throughout the party, which left the kids awed.

The most happening corner of Amer Greens - the KIDZONE which fascinated the younger kids — was also seen flocked with kids throughout the day. Arjun Mishra of Bal Bhavan School and his friend Shubham Dhariwal from Carmel Convent S S School, Ratanpur, said, “The KIDZONE is an amazing place. I could spend hours. Of course, we tried our hands at all games in the KIDZONE, including go-kart racing, bouncy, play stations, cricket mania etc. But Soft Toy play station was one of the best games.””

Zipping on the go-kart track was also great fun, added Arjun.  Another corner that wore a festive look was the restaurant providing a wide range of eatables at discounted price. “Christmas cakes, tandoori, Chinese and South Indian delicacies were the hot favourites today,” stated Operations Manager, Amer Group, Rahul Sethi. Impressed by the huge participation they assured will continue to host such mega events for kids in association with PACE.

The students of Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Sharda Vidya Mandir and Takshashila H S School had also put up a game stall wherein game “Add Numbers & Get Money’ was immensely liked by the kids.

“I really liked the dazzling look the venue wore adding to the Christmas spirit,” said a parent and director of Malhotra College Shweta Malhotra. The joyous celebration came to an end late afternoon with kids returning home with prizes, goodies won by them and memorable moments.
