Lust got the better of a 60-year-old man, who paid with his life after a hush-hush visit to a cinema hall for some adult entertainment.

Hemraj Bagaria of Bhagirathpura was allegedly caught performing fellatio on a 19-year-old boy by three youths, who inturn demanded he perform oral sex on them as well, police said on Wednesday. However, when he refused, Bagaria was stabbed to death.

The incident took place on Sunday, when Bagaria left his home on the pretext of going to watch a movie at a nearby theatre, but never returned. His family lodged a missing person’s complaint with the Banganga police station.

The next day, the body of an old man was found at a deserted spot near the Lakshmibai Nagar railway station. The victim was identified as Bagaria. An autopsy revealed stabbing as the cause of death.

Investigation into the murder revealed that Bagaria had visited Kusum Talkies to watch an adult film on the night he went missing, police said. “When we found Hemraj went to watch an adult movie, we started investigating from this angle and traced the person who was last seen with [him],” a senior police officer said.

Questioning of probable suspects threw up one Vikas’ name.

“We traced Vikas and he said Hemraj was having oral sex with him at an abandoned spot when Ritik, Akash and Chetan reached the spot. They also demanded oral sex, which the old man refused, leading to a brawl,” the investigating officer said.

“The brawl continued for about 30 minutes, after which the three accused stabbed Hemraj to death,” the officer added.

Ritik and Akash were arrested on Wednesday. The third accused, Chetan, is still absconding. “We are carrying out raids to arrest [him],” the officer said.
