The question papers in state civil service-2012 (mains) exam, which were leaked, were from four subjects including General Studies (I&II), Hindi and Public Administration.
The investigation conducted by Special Task Force (STF) in the matter, so far, has revealed that four question papers of mains exam of state civil service exam-2012 were leaked by a Bihar-based racket involved in the leakage of question papers.
According to STF sources, the racket led by Akhilesh Pandey and Brijendra Gupta had leaked the question papers through printing press and sold over 50 students. The racket had also leaked the question papers of prelims exam of state civil service-2012.
"Until we arrest both Brijendra and Akhilesh, who are kingpins of the racket, the mystery of the case will not be solved. The investigation, we have done so far, has revealed that question papers of four subject of state civil service's mains exam and one question paper of prelims exam were leaked," said a STF official, wishing anonymity.
The STF has arrested four persons, including two candidates, who had appeared in mains exam, so far in connection with leak of question papers of state civil service-2012 mains exam.
During course of interrogation, both candidates Sumit Shivhare and Awadesh Parashar, who were caught from their home town Shivpuri, have revealed that they were taken to Allahabad and provided the leaked question papers.
They had purchased question papers through Iliyas Qureshi and Vipin Sharma, who are in jail. The exam was conducted by Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC).
