Indore got its dose of glamour on Thursday as Bollywood stars dazzled the city to promote their upcoming comedy flick Happy New Year which is all set to hit screens on October 24.
Fans flocked to the airport to get a glimpse of Bollywood stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah who arrived in Indore to share tidbits about the movie.
The shutterbugs couldn't get enough of King Khan as he got off his car to greet his fans. While Deepika looked elegant with minimal make up, Abhishek Bachchan was seen in a semi-casual outfit.
As the 'Happy New Year' team arrived at Brilliant Convention Centre for a press conference, Indoreans went gaga on seeing the Bollywood celebs.
While King Khan entertained the audience with his witty one-liners, Abhishek and Boman could be seen at their humorous best. The event soon turned into a laughter riot.
"I am the best dancer in the movie. Nobody can beat me," said Boman in jest while Shahrukh rated Deepika and Abhishek as the best dancers.
Talking about the change in the pattern of Indian cinema, Shahrukh said, "Technology has completely flooded the movie industry. Now, films are made in a completely different manner. Above all, commercial success is important as that alone can decide the fate of the movie."
Calling Deepika as the film industry's 'lucky mascot', Shahrukh said it is their third film together and she has always charmed the audience and impressed them with her performance.
Shahrukh further said, "The movie is very special to all of us. It is for the first time that all of us have come together for an amazing movie with an entirely different story which has the right mix of suspense and comedy."
