We will move forward legally as we have to see on which day he had signed the bond in the police station after the bail was granted by the court. Fifteen days will be counted from that day,” said Dewas SP Abhay Singh.
Pratap Lodhi, 25, was critically wounded when late BJP legislator and maharaja of erstwhile Dewas royal family Tukoji Rao Puar’s son and his accomplices allegedly opened fire on four people over a land dispute at Raghogarh village on May 21.
Lodhi died at a private hospital in Indore recently. Police have booked the late MLA’s son and his aides for murder and started investigations.
The junior Puar had been on the run since the incident but when his legislator father was admitted to a private hospital in Indore, the former had sought bail from the court on the ground of his father’s illness.
The court had granted him 15-day anticipatory bail on June 17. The 26-year-old was reportedly crowned as titular king during his anticipatory bail.
