Around 50 bike owners from Indore will travel to Pune to celebrate five years of Harley Davidson in India.
The bike rally will start on February 19 from Indore. It is a part of the India Bike Week which commenced from February 20 at Vagator beach, Goa. “We will leave from Indore and head to Pune where we will club with the riders of the Pune chapter and then head on to Goa for the bike week,” said Rahul Bhatia, a Harley owner.
The India Bike Week is held every year in Goa where riders from all over the world participate and share their stories and also exhibit their bikes.
“In our convoy we have touring segment bikes such as Rushmore Street glide, along with Fat bob and Dyna.
“It is an exhilarating experience during which we meet different people and celebrate the brotherhood,” Bhatia, who is participating in the rally for the second time, said.
Last year, there was a participation of 1,200 riders from all chapters. This year, it is expected that nearly 2,400 Harley riders from across the country will turn up for the event.
“The Harley Davidson rallies are too disciplined. We all travel as a family and make sure that until and unless the riders are wearing their gears, they are not allowed to drive.
Riders from Bhopal will also join us from Indore and we will ride together to Vagator where the bike week is being held,” Bhatia added.
