Popular Indian rock band Agnee will perform at the annual business-cum-cultural festival of Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM-I) 'Iris' on the institute premises on November 15.

This is the first time when popular television series Coke Studio would be involved in any such event in central India.

The three-day festival which would be organised from November 13 to November 15 will comprise several events including their flagship competitions.

The students of IIM will also attempt a Guinness World Record like they have done in previous festivals. Students will also participate in popular online games which gets a huge response during the festival.

The debut album of the Pune-based band was released in 2007. Since then, they have released several singles and used an Internet-based free distribution model to gather a large fan following in the rock music circuit in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, among other cities.

Members of the band include vocalist Kannan Mohan, who has been a part of various Bollywood hits like Yaariyan and Kinare, guitarist Koco, Hrushikesh Datar on drums and percussions, Among Jamir on bass guitar and Aditya Pushkarna on keyboard. The band is also famous for its iconic MTV Splitsvilla theme song.
