The plan to hit the bull’s eye looks very well prepared by the BJP this time as well. Launching an android-based application to have an edge over their counterpart months before the announcement of the civic polls, the BJP is surely leaving no stone unturned to sweep these polls as well.
Titled 'Samvad Setu', the application will provide the user with all the information regarding the recent meetings, events and other statewide updates of the party.
"We thought about this application to be the most efficient and easy way to connect with workers and supporters. It is cheap, technology-friendly and easy to use," said Rajpal Joshi, head of the BJP IT Cell, Indore.
Slated to make efficient use of this application during the civic polls, the party also plans to link this application with two other things. "The application will open to specifically two links. One would be Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s web page. The other would be to the phone directory of all the workers in the state," added Joshi.
An option of providing feedback about planning and programmes will also be present in the application.
Aimed at creating a web of connectivity, the idea was pushed in the party to basically unite the workers on imbibing new technologies and take a new approach towards elections and campaigning.
"In the present age, SMS and any other conventional way of communication has become passé. People want something which is hassle free and technology friendly. With this application workers will be posted with the information," emphasised Joshi.
"We have launched the website for a trial period. Once it comes out with successful results, a proper launch will be done," said Joshi.
