Indore: Solar power to light up IMA’s 24th conclave

The 24th international management conclave of Indore Management Association (IMA) will be a 100% solar-powered event this year. A wide range of leaders from various fields will address the conclave.

The two-day 24th international management conclave of Indore Management Association (IMA) will be a 100% solar-powered event this year. A wide range of leaders from various fields will address the conclave beginning February 6.

Apart from its thrust on green drive, IMA will also connect the programme with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.

This year, the theme of the conclave will be India 2.0 - Reclaiming Tryst with Destiny. On this occasion, IMA will felicitate Rahul Bajaj, the chairman of Bajaj Group, with the Lifetime Achievement Award and K Radhakrishnan, the former chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), with the Lifetime Innovation Achievement Award.

Speaking to the Hindustan Times, IMA president Vijay Goyal and mentor Jagdish Verma informed that over 1,000 entrepreneurs, CEOs, thinkers, academicians are expected to participate in the event to be held at Abhay Prashal.

The event will also witness the participation of more than 3,000 management students.

Goyal said to promote the use of non-conventional sources of energy, IMA decided to make it a solar-powered driven event this time.

He said, “The ambassador of South Africa, FK Morule, will deliver a lecture on the topic, India and South Africa - Partners in Programme, on the first day. Radhakrishnan will address the audience on the second day.

Goyal added that other prominent speakers would be HM Nerurkar, president, All India Management Association, Rahul Bajaj, Rana Kapoor, founder and CEO of Yes Bank Limited, Major General Bhupesh Jain of the Indian Army, Bimal Jain, former governor, Reserve Bank of India, and other top delegates.

IMA has tied up with Ujaas Energy Limited for the event.
