State BJP president Nandkumar Singh Chauhan has said that people who are against yoga are against the country.

Talking to newspersons on the sidelines of party’s divisional meeting here held on Thursday, he said UN has acknowledged yoga and 45 Muslim countries have accepted it.

"Even then, some people within the country want to intentionally create dispute over it. This is against the nation, not in national interest," he told mediapersons.

He was responding to questions on preparations underway to observe June 21 as International Day of Yoga.

Addressing the divisional meeting later, he called on workers to make BJP an 'all-touching' and 'all-pervading' party implying that it should reach out to all sections of the society who should become its members.

He asked party leaders and activists to make the ongoing mega contact drive a success.

Recalling the achievements of BJP-led state government, he said party should take public welfare policies door-to-door.

Later, addressing a convention of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Chauhan said that party has plans to reach out to young doctors, engineers, youth leaders, industrialists, traders, teachers and hostlers to tell them about party's ideology, values.
