MP Cong to bring in no confidence motion next year, says Katare

Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh assembly Satyadev Katare said that Congress will bring a no confidence motion against BJP-led state government after it completes one year in office.

"They have just completed 10 months. Wait till they complete a year," Katare said in response to a query at meet the press programme organised by Indore Press Club on Wednesday.

Speaking further, he said there have been more scams and less governance during BJP rule. "There is scam in transport inspector examination even," he insisted and added that global investors' summit was nothing but misuse and mismanagement of public finance. "Government committed financial irregularities in summit," he said.

Reiterating that there are gross irregularities in the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board, Katare said chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's niece Ritu Chouhan furnished a wrong caste certificate to avail reservation benefit.

Responding to another query, he said state government's Lok Seva Guarantee Scheme is being run with help of contractors who belong ton Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and BJP.

When asked about Congress party's prospects in forthcoming municipal elections, he said party would win on most mayoral seats in MP. "We will not open our cards now. Mayoral candidate will be declared without anybody getting wind of it," he said in response to another query.

Adding that party would field fresh faces in municipal elections, he said party is ready for civic polls and give a better performance this time. Speaking further, Katare said party will make MPPEB scam an issue in the municipal elections.
