The condition of Pawandeep Singh Pabla, the commercial pilot who was seriously injured in a plane crash on Wednesday, is said to be stable. Doctors said his blood pressure is normal and he is recovering.
"Pabla is out of danger but it is difficult to say how and when he will recover from paraplegia," said Dr Saket Jati, who is looking after the case. Dr Jati further said doctors are keeping a close watch on his condition.
Paraplegia is a condition in which the lower half of the body, including both legs, gets paralysed because of damage to spinal cord.
Also, hundreds of people took part in the last rites of Arshad Qureshi who died on Wednesday evening. He was buried at Mhow Naka graveyard on Thursday afternoon.
Qureshi and assistant pilot instructor Capt Pawandeep Singh Pabla (26) were seriously injured when the MP Flying Club plane crashed on Wednesday morning.
Pabla suffered from paraplegia while Arshad Qureshi suffered head injuries and fracture in his ankle and femur.
