Winning four gold medals and three trophies, defending champion Gujarat frontier emerged overall champions as the 45th inter-frontier platoon weapons shooting championship concluded at Indore’s Reoti Range on Saturday.

Gujarat shooters pocketed a total of 116 points, followed by Rajasthan with 114 and Tripura with 110.

The team also won all three trophies - combat, platoon weapons and General Raina — for their outstanding performance in different categories.

Urban development and environment minister Kailash Vijayvargiya was the chief guest of the closing ceremony.
