In the wake of Panchayat elections, Indore collector has imposed section 144 CrPC in Indore city.'District administration has prohibited carrying of any weapons, cavalcade of vehicles and loudspeakers in the city to maintain peace in the city. This order, however, does not prevent bona fide followers of the Sikh religion from carrying ‘Kirpan'.

The prohibition orders are applicable from Thursday. No rally will be taken out without the permission of the administration.
