Six people, including two women, have been arrested for allegedly running a sex racket from a house in Indore, police said on Wednesday.

Acting on a complaint by Dwarkadheesh Colony residents of suspicious activities going on in a house there, police raided the premises on Tuesday evening where some men and women were found in objectionable condition, Aerodrome police station in-charge KL Dangi said.

Following the raid, two women along with four men were arrested and booked under relevant sections of Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act, he said.

During interrogation of the accused, it came to light that the flesh trade racket was being run by a woman, he said. However, she managed to escape from there before the raid, Dangi said adding that search for her was on.
