Three molestation cases registered in 24 hours

A woman and two teenagers were molested in Indore in the last 24 hours. The police have registered cases and investigation is on.

The first incident occurred in Sukiliya area of Banganga police station. Police said the complainant woman was molested by one Rakesh who lives next to her house. Police said there was some property dispute because of which the complainant’s husband and the accused had a brawl and when the woman tried to pacify both of them, the accused molested her.

Police have arrested the accused and booked him under section 354 of IPC (assault or criminal force to woman with the intention to outrage her modesty).

In the second incident, a 13-year–old girl was allegedly molested under Hira Nagar police station limit. Police said the girl was molested by a minor and investigation is on in the case.

In another incident, a 16-year old girl was molested by two youths under Simrol police station limit on Tuesday morning. According to the police, two youths — Subhash and Praveen — molested the girl at Rajpura Road. Police are yet to arrest both the accused and investigation in is on in the case.
