Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked Bharatiya Janata Party workers to re-dedicate themselves to making India 'Jagat guru' (world guru).
He was addressing BJP workers at Indore airport on Thursday. The Prime Minister was in the city to inaugurate Global Investors’ Summit which will conclude on Friday.
In his speech, Modi said the BJP has traversed a long path from being Bharatiya Jan Sangh to being part of Janata Party before metamorphosing into Bhartiya Janata Party.
He commended the efforts of chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in putting Madhya Pradesh on the path of progress.
Those who received Modi at the airport included chief minister, state BJP president Nand Kumar Singh Chauhan, party MLAs and others.
