Kings XI Punjab defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 14 runs to stay in the hunt for a play-off berth in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017. Kings XI Punjab bowlers gave the mighty Kolkata Knight Riders a reality check, helping their team to a 14-run win in an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 match. Despite scoring a low total of 167/6, KXIP restricted KKR to 153/ 6 in 20 overs. Rahul Tewatia and Mohit Sharma took two wickets each for KXIP, while Chris Lynn (84) top-scored for KKR. Earlier, Kings XI Punjab scored 167/6. After this win, KXIP have 12 points from 12 games and are still in contention for a play-off berth.
