However, while Dhoni is yet to fire on a regular basis with his bat this term, he continues to be the most talked about cricketer on micro-blogging site Twitter.

For the fourth consecutive week of the tournament, Dhoni continues to lead the IPL player emoji leaderboard on Twitter. The player emoji concept was unveiled ahead of the new IPL season, with faces of a few select players being displayed as emojis whenever their names are hashtagged on Twitter.

Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma has been placed fourth, ahead of RPS all-rounder Ben Stokes in fifth.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians were the most talked about team in the fourth week of the tournament.

The super over thriller between Gujarat Lions and Mumbai Indians in Rajkot, meanwhile, was the most talked about match, with its official match hashtag ‘#GLvMI’ registering the highest number of mentions.
